My name is William and I am overweight! My goal is to eat right, workout and get down to a healthy weight. I am hoping that this blog will help keep me on track and accountable for my actions. If that doesn’t work I’ve got MIKE!
To give a little background to this saga, I have been unsuccessfully trying to lose weight pretty much all my adulthood. I’ve tried every fad diet and site. I’ve counted the points, cut back on this and cut back on that. Um, let me be honest. I have started all that, but a week into I feel I deserve award; I then fall back two weeks. I continually tell myself I will start on Monday. Tomorrow must be Monday, because Mike will be coming over bright and early to help me jump start the rest of my long healthy life.

William, I am very proud of you for posting this. That takes a lot of nerve and determination to post something that has been such a struggle. I wish you all the best, and you know you have more than one person that WILL push you through it. Many of us struggle just as you with the lack of motivation to stick to our plans. You will prevail, and I have faith that you can do it!
ReplyDeleteJeremy has been running and trying to lose weight also. He's lost about 10 lbs. and hoping to lose 5 more before Jan 2011. It's a struggle to stay dedicated & motivated, but you can do it!! We're cheering you on!!
