This evening my wife comes home and says we have to run at 8. Well, I tried to bribe her to not run tonight, but she would not take the bribe. So, we hit the road with some resistance from me. As we walked I figured I should make the best of this time and start running. So, it turned into a very good work out. I pushed myself pretty hard today. I tried to focus on my breathing and footwork.

Every time we start working out weird stuff starts happening to my body. First it was the front of my calve becoming tight and now as I focus on my breathing, I've noticed that my chest (upper chest) becomes tired. I guess it is just another hurdle I have to get over. The more work I do the slower my body will get tired.

Back to the run! Well, have way through I looked at my Nike plus app to see how I was doing. Well, I was pissed that my pace was slower then Monday. I could not believe it, I pushed myself during this whole run/walk. So, I got a little down in the dumps, until I ended the workout. My pace was so much better then I thought. I am pretty sure when I looked at my pace earlier, I was looking at my current pace and not the overall pace. As you can see below my pace was much better then the 21 minute pace I saw when I was walking. Awesome workout today! Another day down. I hope I can keep this up for the rest of the 6 days this week.
